Basic Aikitaiji Classes

Class Features:

* comprehensive whole-body warms-up and core-strengthening routine

* kata practice using forms from tai chi, hsingi, and aikido

* self-defense drills

* blending and yeilding practice with a partner

* learn to fall harmlessly, without injury

Instructor:
Sensei Jack Livingston.

Jack taught gifted and talented strategies in public schools for 25 years and has been teaching Tai Chi and Aikido for over 30 years. He studied Tai Chi under Saul Krotki and Ben Lo, and Aikido from Seidokan founder Roderick Kobyashi, Dale Gillian, and Fumio Toyoda. From this synthesis, he founded the techniques and philosophy that make up our art.

Tai Chi in Sugarhouse Park

Class Features:

Class meets in the trees behind the garden building (the upper north east corner behind the high school) in sugarhouse park, saturday morning @ 10:00-11:30am. Remember to bring some water.
